Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to hire the Hall ?

Cost is £1,450 (plus a returnable deposit of £250) for which you have the hall from 1pm on Friday through to Sunday lunchtime.  The cost is payable in 2 parts : a non-refundable deposit of £250 at booking and the balance of £1,200, 3 months prior to your wedding.

Where can I check availability ?

We have an online calendar showing all hall bookings -> click here.  Please note that we do restrict the number of weddings we hold each year so whilst your preferred dates may well be showing as available on our calendar, it is best to check with us that we have available capacity to hold another wedding in any given year.

What time do celebrations need to end ?

As we have neighbours, we do need all events to end at midnight latest.

Do we need to clean the hall ?

We do ask that you leave the hall in a reasonable, tidy state as you have found it.

Is there wi-fi ?

Yes, there is wi-fi throughout

Is the hall accessible to wheel chairs ?

Yes, aside from The Studio which is upstairs, all areas are accessible to wheelchairs

Is there parking ?

There is disabled parking and limited parking for guests.  We would encourage guests staying nearby to travel by taxi to the hall to avoid parking congestion.

What is provided with the hall hire ?

We have ample chairs and tables to accommodate all your guests in whatever configuration you choose.   The tables are rectangular trestle tables and the chairs are modern folding metal chairs with red padded seats and back support - bridal parties normally choose to dress both.  Any different tables or chairs featured on our website images have been brought in by the bridal party.  We also have over 130 sets of crockery and cutlery for use.  We would recommend you hire glassware.

We have a number of accessories which you are free to use (Seating Plan easel, Top Table name tags, hurricane lamps, wine coolers, fairy lights).  A lot of bridal parties do choose to involve an Events Decorator (see our suppliers page).

Can you help us with suppliers ?

There are lots of suppliers in the local area covering everything you need for a perfect day.  See our suppliers page.

Can we set off fireworks ?

Unfortunately not.  Also whilst candles are permitted on tables, we don't permit them on plinths or windowsills due to the fire risk.
