Main Hall
The main hall is spacious and light with ample space for up to 200 guests (130 seated, 70 evening). Tables and chairs can be configured in any way you want for both your wedding ceremony and the wedding meal - 'horse shoe' style works well for intimate events.

For your celebrations you have exclusive use of the whole hall. This includes our beautiful Garden Room which has a small bar and is excellent for Reception Drinks. It also opens out onto the private garden (25m x 5m) which is large enough for a marquee so your day could have the best of indoor and outdoor?
There are 3 other rooms you can use for break-out rooms, childrens' play area, changing room, wedding present storage, etc

Wedding Ceremony
You choose.......a ceremony in the hall, in the garden or at our local Gartmore Parish Church?
The minister, Scott Brown, would be delighted to discuss your wedding plans and a lot of bridal parties have enjoyed incorporating the short walk from the church to the hall into their day. Some even stop at the Black Bull Pub next door for a 'pre Reception Drinks' drink. We also have a humanist celebrant (Suzanne Teed) in the village.

Indoor
Entertainment & Catering
The main hall stage is ideal for bands, raised and separate so it doesn't encroach onto your (large) dance floor. The stage can be curtained off and has access to a backstage room so that bands can set up without disturbing your guests. The sound & lighting equipment is excellent.

Our kitchen is well equipped, designed for light catering or for external caterers to prepare & serve meals cooked elsewhere (the feedback from catering professionals is excellent - "A beautifully renovated hall with a very well-equipped kitchen, a pleasure to cater in" - Gillian Reith, Three Sisters Bake).
The bar in our Garden Room has an access hatch from the kitchen. You can choose to stock and man your own free bar or the Black Bull can put on a pay bar for you.
