This weekend sees the marriage of Ray and Nicola who have been active members of Gartmore community for many years.
We wish them a wonderful fun-filled day in our village hall.
I am looking forward to seeing them later today to see how the hall is transforming into their own bespoke wedding venue. Every wedding is so very different but they have a common theme - they are all beautiful and I am totally confident today will be no different.
The day before the wedding takes place is always a day filled with excitement and joy as families and friends prepare for the wedding. Guests arrive and the atmosphere builds. It is a really beautiful experience for everyone - including the village.
Ray and Nicola will be married in Gartmore Parish Church by the Rev Scott Brown. It is a beautiful, welcoming and inclusive place to marry.
